1. bottom film unwinding
A sliding door system serves as a safety housing for the bottom film unwinding. It runs on drylin® W linear systems, which can also be used with aggressive cleaning processes without any problems.

2. film deflection
A sliding door is also used at the height of the film deflector. It is 3 metres wide and provides access to the machine. The drylin® W linear systems also used here do not require active lubrication.

3. tensioning system
This adjustable guide roller is used to maintain the web tension. The linear retraction during the film change is performed by drylin® JUM linear plain bearings, iglidur ® plain bearings prevent the electrostatic charging of the film. The bearing of the guide rollers themselves is ensured by xiros polymer ball bearings.

4. web edge regulation
Sensors monitor the packaging process in the longitudinal direction. In the event of irregularities, they transmit this information to a DC servomotor, which drives a dryspin® trapezoidal threaded spindle and moves the roll axially.

5. filling station
igubal® EGZM double spherical plain bearings and drylin® N low-profile rails are used to adjust the gripper.

6. thermoforming and sealing station
The bottom film is moulded under the influence of pressure and heat. The moulds for this are adjusted at lifting stations via drylin® linear foils and iglidur® JUCM linear clip bearings. The axis at the station are mounted in iglidur ® J and Z bearings.

7. labelling station
The solution for the energy and signal supply of the labelling dispenser of the packaging system was found in our energy chain product range.

8. cutting station
drylin® R shaft guide RJUM-02-25 are used in the cutting tool.
