Fibre composite bearing for high loads

Unlike conventional steel bearings, TX high-load bearings consist of a robust fibre composite in the outer shell and a sliding-optimised and self-lubricating material on the inside. Tan Cang Gantry relies on TX-bearing in the chassis

In the chassis, the "bogies", of its RTG cranes, Tan Cang Gantry relies on TX1 high-load bearings from the igutex® range. The TX1 bushes allow a surface pressure of up to 200 MPa. This gives the engineers at Tan Cang Gantry more flexibility in the design. At the same time, the resistance on the shaft is minimised, thus increasing the service life.

Energy chain for long travels

The P4HD roller energy chain was developed for the next generation of container cranes. Thanks to the principle of "rollers instead of gliding", friction is reduced to a minimum and the chain moves optimally even with high cable loads and long travel distances. Sensor modules are also suitable for particularly long trolley journeys, enabling the condition of the chain or cables to be monitored and ensuring safe operation.

Port of Rotterdam relies on P4.1 roller energy chain on STS crane

A P4.1 series roller energy chain is in use at the port of Rotterdam, one of the largest handling ports for bulk goods in Western Europe. Despite 24/7 continuous operation and a travel distance of over 100 metres, it works without incident on the huge ship-to-shore crane and has completed over 9,000 operating hours to date.

From 2030, container and passenger ships will have to cover their entire electricity requirements with shore power when they dock in major EU harbours. The iMSPO is a mobile socket for connecting ships to shore power that can be flexibly moved around the quay. The connection is made quickly and the handling of container ships is not disrupted. This ensures efficient harbour operations.
