Overview

For the storage of bottles in the washing chain, the automated unscrewing and emptying of bottles or the lifting station for cleaning, plain bearings are used above all, but also stainless steel shafts and drylin® linear bearings from our product portfolio. Components are used here that work reliably and without the use of lubricants despite constant cleaning intervals.

1. keg handling

A drylin® ZLW-linear axis transports the bottles or kegs to the downstream stations. It is characterised by its particular robustness, even under high weight loads.

2. bottle washing machines

In the washing chain, the containers with the bottles are pivotably supported by means of iglidur ® J plain bearings.

3. bottle unscrewing and emptying

Bearings made of iglidur® J are used here together with precision stainless steel shafts and linear bearing drylin® RJUM with linear plain film JUM-01 to optimise the running performance.

4. bottle rinser

iglidur ® J plain bearings are used on the bottle gripper. iglidur ® J plain bearings enable the pivoting movement and for the spray tube bearing.

5. transfer star / rinsing

iglidur® J plain bearings are installed here as the bearing of the main shaft for the rotation of the transfer starwheels and for the bearing of the gripper tongs.

Injection moulding clamping star in filling line

The MultiGuide Base from Krones eliminates the need to change the clothing. Clamps and rollers are special parts, while the plain bearings are made of iglidur® X.
