How are the iglidur® plastic gear racks manufactured?
At igus® the gear racks are produced using three manufacturing processes:
- injection moulding with iglidur® high-performance polymers
- Mechanical CNC machining from iglidur® bar stock
- 3D printing with iglidur® SLS or FDM materials
