Clean SCARA Cable Solution in ESD (study)

Based on the experience gained from the SCARA Cable Solution developed in 2020, a certified cleanroom variant is now also available - the Clean SCARA Cable Solution. The optimised swivel-mounted connections enable use up to ISO Class 2 (IPA certified). In combination with the e-skin® design SKS20, which has been tried and tested in the highest cleanroom class, highly dynamic applications can also be realised. The proven zipper opening principle of the SKS20 enables quick and easy cable filling. The new Clean SCARA Cable Solution is available in all existing connections of the Standard SCARA Cable Solution.

Thanks to the excellent specifications of the e-skin in the cleanroom, the Clean SCARA Cable Solution directly fulfils the cleanroom ISO Class 2 classification. This opens up new possibilities in the field of SCARA robotics for using one of these robots in the cleanroom.
The rotating bearing function of the standard SCARA Cable Solution has been adopted and adapted to the e-skin energy supply. This means that the two SCARA Cable Solutions cannot be combined with each other.
