What was needed: drylin® N guide rail in combination with guide carriage

Requirements: The components should be particularly light so as not to significantly increase the carrying weight. In addition, no greases or oils should contaminate the carrier. The linear guide should stabilise the flip chart and have low friction. In addition, assembly/disassembly should be intuitive and possible without instructions.

Success for the customer: The linear guides used offer a high load capacity, are absolutely clean, maintenance-free and lubrication-free. They also have a long service life. For transporting the CompactChart, the products from igus are extremely lightweight thanks to the use of aluminium and plastic and, with a system width of 17mm and a height of 9.5mm, are extremely space-saving.

It is difficult to develop a flip chart that is intuitive and easy to use and at the same time also robust enough to withstand temperatures and individual environments, e.g. during transport.

The heavy and bulky design of conventional flip charts makes it difficult to transport. It also needs to be ready for immediate use without any additional explanations or preparations. Weight also plays a major role.

In addition to the compact type, the drylin® N guide system impresses above all with its robust design. Whether used indoors or outdoors, at high or low temperatures, in clean or dirty environments, the system works smoothly and is fail-safe. Taking the CompactChart with you is easy, as is setting it up. Users do not need to carry out any maintenance; once installed, it fulfils its requirements reliably.
