In order to remove swarf and cutting oils from the components after milling work, the company relies on the robolink DP for spray-water applications.

After the milling work, the individual components were cleaned manually in a cleaning cell. This led to longer throughput times, more handling effort and greater space consumption in production. A cost-effective automation solution was needed to speed up the cleaning process.

In its search for affordable automation solutions, the company Ecoclean came across igus®. igus® also supplies the robolink® DP especially for splash water applications, without any protective housing. The robot can efficiently clean the components directly in the processing cell. A solution that not only significantly saves time and money, but is also space-saving.
