Food robot

Automation in gastronomy, general food production or foodservice automation, can include all activities from selecting ingredients to preparing them and serving food and drinks to customers. Room linear robots remove ingredients from the shelf, and cooking robots process them. Barista robots remove and serve the freshly prepared coffee. And delta robots assemble a burger with pick & place.

The rotary, pivoting, and linear movements in all of these processes are performed with bearings, gearboxes, and robotic components. These motion plastics, as they are called, are maintenance-free and can be implemented easily and cost-effectively.

The most delicious robot in the world

Automation can hardly taste sweeter. The robot is equipped with a camera and takes pictures of all the chocolates. From the data, it learns where the different types of chocolate are located. The robot also measures the height of each type of chocolate. This information is later used when filling a box of chocolates.
  • High fun factor for the customer
  • Can process different types of chocolate.
  • Ideal for showrooms

Let's bake a cake

In this application, pieces of dough are placed on a conveyor belt for a further process. They are conveyed vertically beforehand and then placed on the conveyor. An FDA-compliant design was sought, as it involves the handling of foodstuffs.
  • FDA-compliant
  • Minimises tedious manual processes
  • High clock rate possible
  • Cost-effective implementation

My robot, the ice cream seller

The automated slush ice machine shows how automation can easily succeed in the catering industry. A helpful support for many restaurateurs in times of labour shortages.
  • The system can be used in many ways
  • Cost-effective integration into existing gastronomy concepts
  • Consistent filling of the glasses
  • Safe handling with suction cups + 4-finger soft gripper
