SLQ linear robot with two directions of movement
The drylin® linear module offers two directions of movement and these can each be controlled separately. Both drives are located outside the working area, which is why it is space-saving and no unnecessary motor weights need to be moved. The linear guide is torque-resistant and thanks to the compact modular construction, high speeds can be reached with low power.

Robot control system for an easy way to get started with automation
The SLQ linear module is compatible with the igus Robot Control software. With the igus Robot Control, robot control and programming is simple and intuitive. The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software
is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform
operating concept and consistent communication services for a wide range of components
in a system. This reduces project planning effort and facilitates commissioning.
You can of course also use your own (robot) control system.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system - for example, with our igus® D1 dryve
motor control system. With this control architecture, you need a
motor control system and an additional master control system per linear axis or motor to control the coordination of the movement. The motor control systems are not part of the product and can be ordered from us as an option. igus currently does not offer a master control system.
If you are not sure whether it fits your application, feel free to contact us for a demo. Further strokes and other special solutions are possible upon request.
