Bucket wheel reclaimer

This bucket wheel reclaimer, which is used in a port, also has to be equipped with an energy supply that can cope with a circular movement of 360°. Here, the solution was to use an igus® energy chain with rearward bending radius. The energy chain is in a position to follow the circular movements by 180°, but in both directions. This means the energy supply is guaranteed in the complete movement radius. The system works maintenance- free to a large extent.
