Packaging robot

You can implement many different applications with robots. For example, in addition to positioning and pick & place tasks, it is also possible to efficiently automate the packaging of products. Our robotic systems place your components precisely and with consistent quality.  The processes can be repeated exactly. Another reason is workplace safety; the robot can easily work in a wide variety of environments and provides support for unergonomic work. Due to the user-friendly setup and control system of the robot, as well as the modular system of our robotic components, the packaging applications can also be flexibly adapted. Our Low Cost Automation experts will be happy to help you choose and configure your robot system.

Ice cold automation

The automatic labelling machine for the farm ice cream from Beindlhof seals the cups automatically and then labels them. In the process, the system has to differentiate between 200 types during operation and apply the labels accordingly.
  • Maximising production capacity
  • Manual processing hardly feasible
  • Handles wide variety
  • FDA-compliant
To the application example

Manufacturing and packaging of masks

Every week, four machines with approx. 20 employees produce around 100,000 OP and FFP2 masks. Two fully automatic packaging systems are used for the manual and monotonous packaging of the masks. This increases production times and reduces unit costs.
  • Monotonous activities at the end of the production line are no longer necessary
  • Enables marketable unit cost pricing
  • Residue-free production thanks to the lubrication-free solution

The automated packaging line

A linear drive from igus is used for the 3D camera, which is operated when packaging furniture and is installed at a height of 3m. By using the linear axis in combination with the camera, a complete image processing system can be saved, since the camera is moved to the respective position.
  • Massive cost savings by eliminating an entire camera system
  • Travel is variable
  • Very fast amortisation of the initial costs
